چکیده

The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) requires a rapid solution and global collaborative efforts in order to define preventive treatment strategies. One of the major challenges this disease is high number patients needing advanced respiratory support due Distress (ARDS) as lung – although not exclusive target virus. molecular mechanisms, pathogenic drivers cell type(s) SARS-CoV-2 infection are still poorly understood, but development “hyperactive” immune response proposed play role evolution it envisioned cause morbidity mortality. Here we propose theory which main targets for Type II Alveolar Epithelial Cells clinical manifestations syndrome direct consequence their involvement. We existence vicious cycle once alveolar damage starts AEC cells, inflammatory state supported macrophage pro-inflammatory polarization (M1), cytokines release activation NF-?B pathway. If confirmed, future therapeutic can be directed cells associated with dysfunction currently available

CHALLENGES OF LABORATORY SAMPLING AND DIAGNOSIS OF SARS-COV-2 VIRUS OF DISEASE (COVID-19)

Background & Aims: Given the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 worldwide, it is essential to identify people infected with the virus and determine its different types to control the global outbreak of COVID-19. The results of the studies are controversial, so this study examines these diagnostic challenges, including the types of diagnostic methods, the type and time of sampling, and even the clinical c...

A review of coronaviruses focusing on SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) the cause of COVID-19

Coronaviruses, enveloped positive single-stranded RNA viruses, have become significant pathogens for humans and other vertebrates since the outbreak of SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) in 2002 in China. These viruses could infect the respiratory tract of humans and other animals. The outbreaks of SARS and MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome), which Bats are thought to be the origin o...

COVID-19: a hypothesis to prevent SARS-CoV-2 from entering respiratory cells

Coronaviruses (CoVs) are a group of viruses that induce infection in the respiratory and other systems in the human body. There are two coronaviruses that transmitted from animals to humans including severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) (1). The novel coronavirus that appeared at first in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 was named as severe acut...

SARS-COV-2 Virus; Immune Responses and The Immunopathogenesis

Abstract Background and Objectives Clinical features of SARS-COV-2 virus include fever, headache, cough, sore throat, and shortness of breath, and in severe forms it leads to disseminated intravascular coagulation, septic shock, and ultimately death. Excessive secretion of proinflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1 leads to cytokine storms in this disease. The emergence of new va...
